Pretty Dandy are an online independent interiors boutique, who find handmade, new designer & vintage home accessories. They support and feature some fantastic British designers, who’s work is not only beautifully hand crafted, but also quirky too. Pretty Dandy also organise the Pretty Dandy Flea, a craft, art and vintage market in Nottingham, where fellow creatives get the chance to sell their beautiful products.
On Saturday I visited the Pretty Dandy Flea for the first time and I found some great designers to share with you.
The Pretty Dandy stall featured a mix of vintage homeware and products from independent designers, including these lovely teapots, jugs and hand printed note books.
These quirky coasters are from the British designer Carly Dodsley. Each piece is beautifully hand drawn and then printed onto jugs, plates, coasters, mugs and more.
One of my favourite pieces was the peacock plate, it instantly caught my eye as it is so beautifully detailed….. I had to buy one before they all got snapped up!
Another designer which caught my attention was Ding Ding, a British designer who screen prints onto jewellery, accessories and textiles. I was drawn to her brightly coloured prints and quirky cards which featured on her lovely stall.
The Bird in Borrowed Feathers stall featured cute design pieces including hand printed tea towels, vintage napkins, cheeky robots, hand made jewellery and much more. I couldn’t decide on my favourite piece as there was so much to choose from.
Keep an eye out for more Pretty Dandy Flea’s in the new year here.
